Happy New Year & welcome to 2022!
On January 3, 2022, Doug Ford made an announcement enforcing new restrictions to the COVID-19 response by the Provincial government. The full list of the new Ontario COVID-19 restrictions can be found HERE.
OCNI has been and continues to be diligent and monitor the situation as it unfolds. At this time, the guideline from the Provincial government is that all employees who are able to work remotely should do so. The new restriction will be in place until January 26, 2022 or until further updates from the Provincial government are provided. Please note that to abide by these restrictions, OCNI has undertaken the two below updated measures that are effective immediately and will remain in place until further notice:
- No more than two members of staff can be on-site at the OCNI offices at any given time. This also means outside visitors are discouraged and are only allowed under the pre-approved conditions. Deliveries will be allowed in office.
- We will be redirecting the main phone line to one staff member effective January 5, 2022 at 8:30 am. Messages will be forwarded to staff via e-mail. With this update, we encourage members to please contact OCNI staff via e-mail.
If you are in need of immediate assistance, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and a staff member will contact you. Until further notice, we thank you again for your continued support and understanding throughout all the changes.
