Ready to Deliver: Building Workforce Capacity and Capability in the Nuclear Supply Chain
In partnership with Women in Nuclear Canada and the Amelia Alliance, the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries is pleased to host a one-hour webinar in recognition of International Women’s Day, focused on strengthening workforce capacity across Canada’s rapidly growing nuclear supply chain.
Canada’s nuclear sector is entering a period of unprecedented expansion, with new builds, refurbishments, and emerging technologies driving demand across engineering, manufacturing, services, and project delivery. While this growth presents significant opportunity, it also brings a critical challenge: ensuring the industry has the skilled, diverse, and resilient workforce needed to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and at scale.
This webinar will examine current workforce pressures across the supply chain and explore how expanding participation and unlocking underutilized talent — particularly women in technical, business, and leadership roles — can help meet these demands. The session will feature insights from a national study led by the Amelia Alliance on advancing women-owned businesses in the nuclear sector, alongside a real-world perspective from a woman working within the nuclear supply chain.
