SUMMARY:OCNI ATP Council & CAMiNA Presents: Nuclear Industry At The Age Of Additive Manufacturing
DESCRIPTION:Framatome has been at the forefront of the push to adopt additive manufacturing technology in the nuclear industry. Join us for an insightful “Nuclear Energy in the Age of Additive Manufacturing” webinar by Framatome’s Director of Framatome Additive & Advanced Manufacturing\, Mohamed Zouari\, PhD. \n\n\n\nDelve into the transformative potential that 3D printing brings to the nuclear sector\, from enhancing safety and efficiency to revolutionizing the design and production of nuclear components. Learn about examples of how Framatome is already using additive parts in some and how they are planning to further operationalize additive manufacturing in their manufacturing processes. Dr Zouari will also touch on how they went about qualifying these methods and components according to French regulations. \n\n\n\nThis webinar should appeal to a broad range of nuclear professionals\, from manufacturing operations to quality control and regulatory policymakers. \n\n\n\nDon’t miss out on this great learning opportunity! \n\n\n\nREGISTER HERE

SUMMARY:CAMiNA Tech Session - 5G Private Wireless Networks
DESCRIPTION:Event Details: \n\n\n\nThere is considerable interest in Industry 4.0 technologies which highlights the deployment of sensors and data driven decision making to support operations. Early adopters are reporting benefits\, but uptake in Canada has been slow.  \n\n\n\nInstalling sensors on equipment represents a barrier to deployment. Based on this we are exploring if a 5G private wireless network is a potential solution to facilitate the wider use of sensors in operations. \n\n\n\nMuch has been said about the advantages of 5G.
