SUMMARY:OCNI Ready4SMR Workshop At CNS Annual Conference
DESCRIPTION:This workshop explores how advances in materials science and manufacturing are helping enable the next generation of nuclear projects. Hosted by the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries through its Ready4SMR initiative\, the session brings together industry and academic leaders to discuss modular nuclear construction\, advanced welding\, additive manufacturing\, functionally graded alloys\, and molten salt corrosion research. \n\n\n\nThe workshop will highlight emerging Canadian capabilities supporting SMRs and large nuclear projects\, while examining how advanced manufacturing and materials innovation can improve scalability\, safety\, and deployment readiness across the nuclear supply chain. \n\n\n\nPlease note: Registration for this workshop does not include access to the CNS Annual Conference.
