SUMMARY:CUSMA: An Overview for Canada’s Nuclear Sector
DESCRIPTION:OCNI is pleased to invite members and industry partners to a one-hour webinar on January 13\, hosted in collaboration with StrategyCorp\, focused on the upcoming joint review of the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement (CUSMA). \n\n\n\nThe session will feature Jeff Mahon\, Director of StrategyCorp’s Geopolitical and International Business Advisory Practice\, who will provide timely insights into the CUSMA review process and what it may mean for Canada’s nuclear industry and supply chain. \n\n\n\nDrawing on his extensive experience in trade policy\, Mahon will outline the background and evolution of CUSMA\, highlight the provisions most relevant to Canada’s nuclear sector\, and discuss how OCNI and its members can engage constructively in the joint review process. The discussion will also explore broader implications for North American trade policy amid an increasingly complex and dynamic global environment. \n\n\n\nParticipants will leave with a clearer understanding of the CUSMA review timeline\, key areas of focus for Canada’s nuclear supply chain\, and opportunities to navigate and influence international trade discussions that impact the sector.
